All my work is grounded in attachment theory, using various therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, inner child work, mindfulness, logotherapy and others; all evidence based theories and practices.

Mediation

I work with parents to create a parenting plan, a written document outlining how you will parent your child after a separation/divorce.  This document outlines all relevant issues such as custody, parenting time (access), holidays, school concerns, health matters, religious matters and much more.  Working from a collaborative approach I assist parents to create a document that works for their family in a comfortable safe environment emphasizing the elimination of conflict, enhancement of communication and positive well-being of all children.

Parenting Coordination

This special service is available to parents with a court order in place that find themselves in constant conflict.  A parent co-ordinator offers a combination of coaching, counselling and arbitration services.

A parent co-ordinator is a neutral third party to whom parents can turn to resolve disputes in a timely manner.

At the same time, parents will learn communication and problem solving techniques to enable them to make these decisions themselves.
